CFSP started
in 1997 out of the need for coordinated action on wood energy policy.
Initial work was focused in Kompong Chhnang province studying the
technological and socio-economic issues surrounding wood energy.
We are engaged in a wide range of research and training
activities to reduce the consumption of wood energy in Cambodia
focusing in particular on fuel efficient improved cookstoves and
charcoal manufacturing processes.
CFSP seeks to collaborate widely with other organisations
involved with wood energy issues to bring about coordinated action
and work towards a national wood energy policy.
